I chose M&A based on the comments and they were 100% spot on( besides the negative ones complaining about parts 6 months after the fact?) BILL is a great guy and he cares! We had few delays on getting my truck but I was being patient and also understand that life happens. They did a great job on my truck and when it came time to pay up(I was so nervous cause we're living on 1 paycheck waitin for disability and didn't want to have to use a credit card of need be I didn't want have to another bill in the month on top of ones we have, I was freaking out because we became a 1 paycheck couple since my wife's diagnosis of neuropathy and having to quit her job because of that fact. When he handed me the bill he seemed kind of nervous but when I looked at it he put his hand out for a shake and I had to give him a hug and i did. Other places don't care about your life and the troubles you have going on in it but he did. If I would've taken to somewhere else the bill would've be $2000 to $3000 more than we could afford. Bill is like me, no bs, to the point and actually cares. I'm not sure how he does it because every time i stopped by to see progress on my truck he was constantly busy, he is not only the owner but also receptionist, parts guy, billing dept., scheduling services,... they were Lil short handed with mech.s and occasionally the one mech. working on my truck had to be called out for other jobs(semis)I'm not sure how he's still doing it but I'm glad he is. If you have issues with your diesel or semi and him your business. He told me that things starting to pick up after the covid bs that effected everyone even diesel repair shops.

If you have a diesel that needs repaired, this is the place to bring it. The owner, Bill, is a really great guy that you can trust to not overcharge or upsell you like some places do. Definitely has a mom and pop feel to the place. Everyone that I've met just seems like good people. Can't recommend this place enough! Don't be scared away by the negative review of the guy that blew up his motor 2 years after it was rebuilt by Bill's guys.) How can you blame a shop 2 years after the fact??? Shame on people like that.

Bill the owner likes to help out owner Operators. If you are in a hurry he definitely tries to work with you.
I would definitely recommend M&A diesel shop

These guys are awesome had a door broke on one of my 53ft trailers went to there shop they put 5 new hinges on it and I was out of the door within 2 hours awesome people. Finding service and people to move this quick is hard to do in my industry. I'm glad I found M&A now I know where to bring my equipment to when I'm in Illinois. Thank you again, it gave me time to go pick up a load and get back to my wife who is driving me crazy about a door being broke 😉
